Pilar Pilapil sustains stab wounds in suspected carjacking incident

Star of defunct teleserye "Lobo", veteran actress Pilar Pilapil was rushed to a hospital after sustaining several stab wounds in a suspected carjacking incident.

While parked at Riverbanks Center in Marikina City at around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Pilar Pilapil and female companion Rosel Rosalem were approached by two unidentified armed men who commandeered them to drive their Kia car.

Hours later, Pilapil was left wounded by the suspects in Piedra Blanca Homes at Antipolo City where she able to ask for help. Rosalem, however, still remains missing as of this writing.

According to recent reports, Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 1967 Pilar Pilapil is now recovering in Medical City Hospital in Pasig from the 7 stab wounds she sustained from the incident.
