Melissa Ricks pairs with Alex Castro in "Wansapantaym: Valentina"

Previously the 'loveteam' of Matt Evans in several shows, Melissa Ricks will be paired for the first time with Alex Castro in Wansapanataym: Valetina which she will lead. An FEU Batch 2007 graduate, the 24-year old Alex Castro is a commercial model-politician-turned-actor. Alex is also former candidate in Are You The Next Big Star? shown on GMA 7.

In an ABS-CBN interview, Alex Castro shared, “Noong umpisa, nahihiya pa ko talaga. Pero mabilis ko naman nakagaanan ng loob si Melissa kaya naging maayos ang working relationship namin. Mabait siya.”

Melissa also admitted on the same interview that she has been dreaming of the role of Valentina.

“Kilalang karakter na po kasi si Valentina. Marami na rin ang nag-portray sa character na 'yun. Ngayong binigyan ako ng chance to give life to such a popular character, dream come true po talaga,” Ricks said.

Wansapanataym: Valetina will be aired this Saturday on ABS-CBN.
